Ahimsa, Natural Ecology for Children Programme is a series of lesson plans, books, educational materials, songs and merchandise which enable children and young people to connect with the qualities of ‘Ahimsa’ and to apply them in their lives.
The Ahimsa Programme focuses on four topics – the Land, Nature, the Environment and Animals, with one stand alone lesson focusing on Water.
The Ahimsa Programme seeks to encourage children and young people to see the world around them as an exciting place in which they can learn about God, their individual self and their relationship with God. Nature gives us so many opportunities to worship God, to learn about God in all forms, and to
serve God through loving and protecting nature. Though based on Hindu philosophy, the Ahimsa Programme is for children and young people of any faith, and encourages individuals to explore their own personal connection with God.
Completion of this course is also a gateway through which you can train to teach the Ahimsa programme to other people, professionally, and with accredited status.
